Here’s something about forecasts: If they come without a deadline they are not worth anything.
Saying ‘Petrol will cost € 1.80 per litre’ now and celebrate ones predictive capabilities when it nearly reaches this point 2 years later, just shows how stupid the forecaster is – and how they disregard the intelligence of the people.
The same holds true for any kind of prediction particularly important to remember when politicians come up with theirs. Like, ‘Our strategy will work’.
